Utility Services for Batavia Residents

You may email Utility Billing with questions about Electric, Water and Sewer Utility service or billing.

Electricity

The City provides electrical service to all City residents. To establish service or to ask questions related to billing, call the Utility Billing Department at 630-454-2020. Additional information is available on the website regarding establishing service and rates.

For outages or service issues, call the Electric Department at 630-454-2350. Outside of normal business hours, you may also report an outage to the Police Department non-emergency phone by calling 630-454-2500.

Please note that if you live in a location that is not incorporated within the City of Batavia, then you will obtain electricity from ComEd.

Water & Sewer

The City provides fresh water service and sewer/wastewater service to all City residents. To establish service or to ask questions related to billing, call the Utility Billing Department at 630-454-2020. Additional information is available online regarding establishing service and rates.

To report a water main break, sewer backup, fire hydrant leak, or for other service issues, call the Water Department at 630-454-2450. Outside of normal business hours, you may also report a water main break or fire hydrant issue to the Police Department non-emergency phone by calling 630-454-2500.

Waste & Refuse

Refuse service for Batavia is provided by an outside contractor - Advanced Disposal Services. Stickers and bags may be purchased in the utility billing department. Detailed information may be found under the City of Batavia Street Division.
