The City of Batavia is governed by the Illinois Liquor Control Act, which does allow for various city ordinances to meet the needs of the residents and businesses. The following are some procedure guidelines and applications to help you in the process of obtaining your liquor license:

Illinois BASSET Certificate

Illinois Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education Training (BASSET) is an important part of obtaining your liquor license and may be obtained for a reasonable fee. This certification is good for 3 years. Although the City of Batavia does not recommend nor endorse any particular site, the following are some sites that are available to you for your BASSET certification training:
