Electronic Equipment Recycling Program
Posted on 8/30/2007
Category: Public Works and Utilities

Batavia households can recycle old electronic equipment locally free of charge.  Due to limited storage space, and the great success of this program, we will no longer accept items from local businesses, churches, schools or other organizations. Limit of 10 pieces per homeowner may be dropped off per month.

Electronics may be dropped off Monday through Friday at the Batavia Public Works Facility located at 200 North Raddant Road between the hours of 8 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.  When arriving at Public Works, please check-in at the front office and advise the receptionist that you have equipment to drop-off. Proof of residence is required.

To ensure the safety of our personnel, a weight limt of 50 lbs per item is strictly enforced.  Items in excess of 50 lbs may be taken to the Kane County Electronic Recycling Center in St. Charles.
