Businesses Open During Construction
Please remember that no businesses are closed due to the Houston Street Project.  The Popcorn Depot, Open Range, Depot Museum, the Professional Building and all the businesses on Island Avenue are all easily accessible at all times, though you may find yourself waling just a bit further for a parking space. Please cross your fingers for continued good work weather.

Houston Street Update

The following is a status update and work scheduled for the week of October 19:

•    Landmark is expected to be on site starting Friday, October 16, to perform the final grading for the sidewalks and excavate the four planters that are immediately behind the roadway curb.
•    Abbey has completed the roadway curb with the exception of a few repairs to make prior to sidewalks being installed.  Tentatively scheduled to begin pouring concrete sidewalks on Monday, October 19. They believe they will be done in about two weeks.
•    Asphalt binder course is now completed.
•    Rainmakers Irrigation will return to install their valve boxes in the planter islands by mid-week.
•    Thorne Electric is on site to start installing street light pole foundations and electric hand holes.
•    Breezy Hill is tentatively scheduled to start installing brick pavers the week of October 26 in the fountain plaza area and sidewalk sections at the intersections.

Art Stop
Parking lot and adjacent sidewalk will be closed over the weekend.   Concrete curb at the entrance on Rt. 25 and sidewalk on the east side of Rt. 25 is being poured on Friday, October 16th and will set over the weekend.  It should be reopened for access by early next week.  Thank you for your patience.
