Drainage Improvements in Ward 1 and Area 3 Continue

February 6th, 2017 the City Council awarded WBK Engineering LLC contracts to complete final engineering drawings for drainage improvements in both areas.  As part of the final engineering process WBK will have surveyors out in these neighborhoods starting as early as next week collecting data to incorporate in the final engineering plans.  The surveyors may be in your yard locating utility structures and/or your house foundation elevation. This information is vital to their design. If you have any questions regarding these projects please reference the project websites or project manager Andrea Podraza or (630) 454-2757.

A Tip from the Batavia Environmental Commission

Plastic bags are one of the most common items put in curbside recycling that don't belong.  Please refrain from putting any soft plastic bags in your recycle bin.
Watch the video to see why!

Take your plastic bags to your local grocery stores plus Target, Walmart and more so they can be properly recycled!
