According to the Kane County Division of Transportation,
"Work on the Fabyan Parkway Bridge over the Fox River will cease around the end of November 2019, due to weather constraints. The bridge will remain in the current 2 lane configuration over the winter until work resumes in spring of 2020. Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the staged construction zone as all of the barrels and traffic control devices will stay in place over the winter. This work is part of the rehabilitation work that has been ongoing since June with other work consisting of bridge structural repair, light pole cleaning and painting, and other maintenance activities. This project is being constructed in multiple stages with a revised anticipated completion date of May 2020, weather permitting."
Questions and concerns regarding this work may be directed to David Boesch, Chief of Construction, at (630) 584-1170 or email@example.com.
