The City of Batavia is now in the 5-year maintenance and monitoring period of the Braeburn Marsh Drainage Improvement project. The project was completed in the fall of 2010 for the west side and 2011 for the east side. The monitoring is required by the US Army Corps of Engineers to make sure the area is fully restored after the improvements.
The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, CMAP, is developing the Indian Creek Watershed-based Plan. This page will share updates from CMAP about the project.
